On Sunday August 1 there will be a special Celebration of Community Service in the church starting at 11h15
to which all are welcome, and the church will be open in the afternoon from 14h00 to 16h00 for the Flower Festival and Church Tours.
As we appreciate many of you may still be nervous about the lifting the Covid restrictions, Christ Church will continue to ask all members of the Congregation to wear face masks whilst in church, sanitise their hands on entry and when receiving communion and ensure they only use the pews available to ensure social distancing. And, whilst we are all very keen to hear the organ play again and have a really good sing, we will be holding a said communion only until further notice. Hopefully the organ will start playing again soon.
We hope this reassures those who are concerned about Covid and the lifting of restrictions. We aim to keep everyone in our community safe and hope you understand our decision to continue with the Covid precautions.
The service on Sunday 1st August will be an opportunity for us all to show our thanks for living in this wonderfully supportive community and also see the lovely floral arrangements from the Flower Festival. All are welcome, whether regulars or visitors to what promises to be an uplifting service of thanksgiving.
